Question about Bowl Shows

So what if the genus is not listed on the bowl show schedule?

The ones I have run into so far is Rocio octofasciata, or the Jack Dempsey, and Mbipia lutea (one of our Victorian's).

This is definitely a question for Mickey to address; he just needs to add those genus to appropriate categories.

Ok, I might just be really blind, but it seems kind of difficult to find the schedule for the bowl shows. I might know a good solution to your problem for the list of species you can show. If you have people bring in their species to the show when its not found on the list but fits the category, you take the species and simply add it to the list.

Yeah, that;'s a good idea though. Maybe there could be some sort of way to bring in a fish that is not on the list and show it in a new category or something. An incentive to be able to find and bring in new fish no one has heard of, and also an incentive to make sure it gets added to the list. Ha. Not just a re-naming of course, but a new cichlid not on the list. That would be cool.
