Hello,

I am brand new to the RMCA (today). I've been searching the Internet for lamprolous similis. Can you tell me how to obtain them from you or from another source? I have a cycled 20 gallon tank ready to go for a similis-only home. I was thinking of starting with 5 of them.

Thanks for any help that you can provide.

The similus we have at the school spawn in a Tanganyikan community tank all the time. I captured some of the fry, but with limited tank space, the other fry in the nursery tank seemed to kill them. They just dissapeared really. So we enjoy seeing the fry around the shells, but I have not been very successful at raising them yet. ha.
