MEETING JUNE 9th! Jason Myer Presenting.
6:30pm, FRIDAY June 9th, At the American Legion Hall.
5400 East Yale Avenue, Denver, CO 80222
Jason Myer is a U.S. Navy veteran of 10 years, an electrical engineer graduate from CU Boulder and holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Colorado Tech. Growing up in a family deeply connected to the world of fish, Jason’s passion for aquatic life has been ingrained in him from an early age. Hailing from the Philippines, where his family owned a small fishing business, he witnessed firsthand the vital role fish played in sustaining the immediate community. Fish have always been a part of Jason’s life, with a fish tank gracing his household as far back as he can remember.
In the past two years, Jason has embarked on an Aulonocara Hybrid Orange Blotch (OB) project. Establishing breeding groups that not only maintain genetic diversity but also promote captivating color variations within the Aulonocara species. Jason’s aim is to achieve sustainable captive breeding of OB cichlids right here in Colorado. As an added challenge, he aspires to create a unique four-color variation, incorporating the hues of the Colorado State Flag—red, white, yellow, and blue—into the OB cichlid.
He also owns a veteran small business in Colorado, sole proprietor LLC, it’s called “Sustain Protect Supply”
